For any bride to be, choosing your wedding dress has to be one of the most exciting parts of the whole wedding planning process. In fact, most of us have visions of our wedding dress in our minds from childhood, long before we’ve even met our groom! But with so many websites and countless dresses in all styles available, we really are spoilt for choice.
If you’re looking for something exquisitely unique but still on trend, look no further than Bowen Dryden. Ethically made and the perfect blend of feminine, fashion-forward designs, Sharon Bowen Dryden’s show-stopper dresses and wedding day jumpsuits are simply stunning.
As a world-leading Haute Couture Fashion Designer, Bowen Dryden is well established in the Bridal industry for her cutting edge, alternative Bridal collections. I had the pleasure of capturing their Rebel Rose collection at Castle Ashby last year on a beautiful sunny day in their orangery.
Rebel Rose is a seriously cool collection of mix-match pieces for the “free-spirited bride who dares to be different and walks barefoot through the fields”.
With the most dreamy layers of ombre tulle, I love the hand embroidered details full of sequins and beads depicting wild meadow flower scenes.
With hair and makeup by the incredibly talented Zoe from Knot Your Average Bride, Zoe is known for her effortlessly beautiful hair and makeup for the modern bride. Zoe says “Bridal hair and makeup has made a shift over the years. We no longer need to be ‘Princesses’, we can be absolute QUEENS!”
It’s definitely fair to say our model Olivia felt and looked like a Queen, oozing confidence and sass in every single look. The more I look through the Rebel Rose collection, the more I want to get married all over again (to the same man, of course!) After all, who wouldn’t want to be a Queen for the day?!
