Can you imagine a more stunning setting for a destination wedding than the tropical island of Jamaica? I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the most intimate wedding at Royalton Blue Waters / Royalton White Sands, and am still having swooning flashbacks that make me feel jealous of my past self! White Sands and Blue Water are the same resort but have different buildings and different styles of accommodation. They both meet in the middle and as a guest, you have full access to the same facilities, dinner and breakfast options, onsite inclusive resort restaurants, pool area and entertainment. It really is a paradise and the most magical setting to say ‘I do’! Lee and Lisa’s intimate wedding with just 10 guests was the ultimate family affair, they made me feel so welcome and I was so honoured to be a part of it.

Do you want to know the secret to shooting killer pre-wedding, engagement or wedding portraits in Oia Santorini?
The best tip I can give you is to sacrifice your lie in, wake up before sunrise and go when no one is around. You’ll usually get the occasional photoshoot or influencer there at the same time, but it won’t be as crazy busy as it is during the day.

It’s no secret that Santorini holds an incredibly special place in my heart. This year was the second time I’ve visited and it will certainly not be the last. The weather, the magical quality of light you can only capture on this island, the people, the food, the views- it’s a lovers paradise. If you’re looking to elope, say your vows somewhere truly special I would not hesitate to consider Santorini. With an inspirational elopement at Grace Hotel Santorini Imerovigli it is a hidden treasure on the island with volcanic views of the caldera, the most glorious sunset and stunning balcony views for your ceremony.

Beacon House in Whitstable Kent will always have a special place in my heart. It was originally the venue Jonathan and I had planned to get married at but once our guest list gradually got larger it sadly wasn’t meant to be. However on our wedding day we still took a walk there and had some of our wedding portraits in their beautiful gardens on the tree swing. I’ve shot another elopement at Beacon House since and it still remains my favourite wedding venue in all of Kent.

How do you celebrate your first year of marriage? Your first wedding anniversary is a big deal, and definitely something worth celebrating with more than just Netflix & Chill. If it were me, I’d say a romantic dinner, an adventure out and photos to mark the occasion. And that’s exactly what Sam and her husband did for their one year anniversary.

How do you incorporate your favourite colour into your wedding? Is it possible to do it in an elegant way? It sure is! Especially if the colour is PINK!! Nataly J Photography and I have always bonded over our love of blush pink, in particular the shade ‘Millenial Pink’. We’ve always wanted to do a shoot purely based around this colour/vibe, with a focus on Bridesmaids.
