Client experience is so important to me. From the moment you book your photography with me, through having me arrive on the morning of your wedding to capture the day, to when you receive your photos in one of my bespoke wooden keepsakes boxes, I always do everything I can to make your experience as special and memorable as possible.

With this in mind, when my wedding clients book their wedding with me they receive a welcome pack. The contents I will keep a secret and surprise for now, but suffice to say I always receive the most lovely emails of gratitude when the parcels arrive and the couples look inside! I wanted to add to my welcome pack a mini wedding magazine/guide, full of advice for the couple with some helpful tips and tricks for their wedding. I have contacted former brides and grooms and got their advice too on what they wish they knew before their big day; their wedded words of wisdom for others, alongside checklists and other bits in bobs, and all of this will be in my magazine.

But what will the cover be? I wanted something colourful, fun and editorial. I love my photography to also have elements of editorial fashion when the mood strikes. I love to capture spontaneous romance and emotion day-to-day but sometimes its really fun to photograph a bit of fashion, glamour and elegance.

I had this idea floating around in my head (pun intended!) for months and it finally came to fruition on Sunday last week. Once something creative pops up in my head it’s hard for it to go away, I am determined to make it happen!

Balloonista of Kent and MUA Charis from Toto Caleo were on board. I knew I wanted Georgina to be my bride as she is just a dream to photograph. We were going for a vintage style and so with this fabulous tea length dress from Hibrow Brides, the look was complete.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect (which was a real stroke of luck as it was grey all morning). The photography gods parted the clouds and we were blessed with not only sun but a blue sky to match!

For the second part of the shoot we moved to a different location and completed the look with a bird cage veil from Crown and Glory. I simply adore this look, it’s really fun and I just adore the glitter hearts!

I cannot wait to share with you the finished result when my wedding welcome magazine is created!
