As intimately stylish as a wedding can be

Vanessa and Tom’s wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall was as intimate as a wedding can be.

It all began with a small ceremony, witnessed by their two best friends. Then an adventure through the streets of London; the backseat of a black cab, the rumble of the Underground, the magnolias of spring.

And to finish: cocktails and cuddles in a cool London bar.

It was a day all about them, their love, their future together. It was effortless, vibey, and oh-so-stylish. And it all went down in just two short hours.

If you’re looking for inspiration for your intimate London wedding, come take a look.

Bridal styling inspiration for your wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall

I met V&T in the hallways of the iconic Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding venue. Tom in a classically suave black tux; Vanessa in a chic white suit from Nadine Merabi

Her look was stylish and elegant. With a white headband in her long hair, and a memorial charm of her dad hanging from her faux-rose bouquet.

“With me today and always”

An intimate ceremony in The Marylebone Room

If you’re having a wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall, it doesn’t *have* to be intimate. (The Westminster Room can seat up to 100 guests; the Knightsbridge Room, 30).

But if you’re dreaming of a truly intimate London wedding, this really is the perfect venue. Their rooms are functional, but beautiful; run like clockwork, but with care. They even have a ‘You Plus Two’ package, designed for the smallest wedding legally possible!

And that’s just what V&T did.

Their ceremony was personal, romantic, and intimately simple. They had personally-written vows; they shared rings, kisses, and promises of unfaltering love. And in the company of their two best friends, they became husband and wife.

The steps, the alcove, and the lions

As soon as you leave the ceremony room, everything about Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding venue is *iconic*

The famous hallways, that iconic staircase. And as you step through those iconic front doors, you’re showered with confetti on those iconic stone steps.

And then your photos in that famous alcove.

Pillars, curves, and white stone walls. And as you’re leaving- the lions. Waiting patiently to be stroked, cuddled, sat-upon, fussed over. Just as they have by the decades of happy couples that came before.

Having your wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall isn’t a throwaway way to say “I do”. You’re becoming part of a beloved London tradition. And at last- becoming the stars of a movie you’ve watched a thousand times before.

The best thing about having your wedding in Old Marylebone Town Hall…

You wave goodbye to the lions, take each other’s hand. And there you are, newly-married, with London at your feet.

We jumped in a cab to Regent’s Park, and the famous pillars and curves of Park Crescent. V&T kissed, explored their city together, and strolled hand-in-hand through the magnolia-scattered streets.

We hopped on the Tube. And emerged in another part of the city- another part of the world.

They had cocktails and cuddles in a quiet corner of a quiet bar.

And that’s where I left them. Vanessa, with a cold drink in her hands, her husband’s jacket over her shoulders. And his arms wrapped around her.
