Monday was just magical!… an autumn fashion shoot with the stunning Hannah, a part-time model and children’s nurse (what a heartbreaker right?)
Hannah had found me through one of my previous collaborations with Carris from Toto Caleo (hair and makeup superstar!) If you’re looking for a hair and makeup artist I can’t recommend her enough. I’ve worked with her several times now and her work is breathtaking.
I was thrilled when she got in touch to book a shoot and we’d been relaying some ideas back and forth before the big day.
To begin with, a beautiful Grecian style up do and a high neck dress by River Island and then a sequin number by Boo hoo. I probably drive Carris mad but I pushed for Hannah’s hair to come down for the latter part of the shoot. Call me a sucker for movement in the elements when long hair flows in the wind. Bliss.
Hannah was a pro wading through stinging nettles, having leaves thrown at her and fully submerging herself without hesitation when I asked her to go in the stream. It was freezing cold in that water and at one point the flip flops she was wearing in the stream were there one second and floated away the next minute! We had a good chuckle. Getting wet and cold was totally worth it and I’m thrilled with the outcome.
