As your wedding photographer I don’t just aim to capture your day I aim to improve your whole wedding experience. I like to try to be an extra bridesmaid behind the scenes, give you advice, support and try and guide you through the best day ever.
The best way for me to tell your love story is by being there to capture the romance and excitement from the beginning, right through to the end. I like to keep things simple for you by offering one package, but of course you can always tailor it to suit your specific needs.
On the day I'll get all those special moments: family and friends group shots, bridal beauty portraits, bridesmaids, groomsmen and those romantic couple shots of you looking your most beautiful, and most in love.
My strength and expertise lie in directing, so if you or your fiance are camera shy, you'll be comfortable and confident with me guiding you through what to do. It will be a mixture of both posed shots and natural candids.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of enquiries I receive, I’m only able to do consultations with couples who book with me. Once you’ve booked, I’ll be more than happy to Skype/meet in Kent or London to discuss your big day.
I know how excited you’ll be to see your photos after your wedding. I always make sure to edit 5-10 previews as soon as I can so that you’ve got something to share with friends and family straight away. Typically the bulk of your photographs will be ready within 4 weeks but during busier months this might be 6 weeks. Once the shots are fully edited, I’ll send you an online gallery for you to look through at home. You then get to select your favourites, which I will get printed for you.
No, I'm afraid as a rule they're not something I make available to my clients. It's quite standard in the photography industry but I'll explain why briefly so you understand I'm not just being difficult! To begin with, simply to view them requires specialised software such as Photoshop or Lightroom, programmes which are expensive and so usually only owned by professional photographers. This means to the majority of my clients they are completely inaccessible.
A fair majority are outtakes (blinking, out of focus, poor lighting etc. and look nothing like the final result), so the few people who can access them tend to find the RAW files an anticlimax anyway! I put a lot of love and magic in post, processing the images for them to look the way they are.
Yes, to the ends of the earth! I am based in Kent (England) but travel globally to capture weddings. I have a valid passport and love travelling to exciting destinations. If you're getting married abroad, get in touch for a personalised quote.
I get booked up as far as 2 years in advance and only take on a select number of weddings per year. It makes me so sad when couples fall in love with my work, only to find out I'm already booked for their date. As soon as you have a venue and a date, please get in touch to check my availability!
To secure your wedding date a deposit of £500 is required and the remaining balance 28 days before your wedding.
Yes please! Weddings are very long days for us photographers. If I were to leave your wedding in search of food, I could be gone for up to an hour and might miss something. A fed photographer is a happy photographer.
I also love a dessert if you're feeling generous ;-)
I don't have a fixed number but typically a wedding gallery can be anything from 600 images to 800. This all varies on a combination of things, number of locations, amount of guests, length of coverage, lighting etc.
Of course if you would like additional coverage (e.g. to capture the groom’s prep or if you have a larger wedding), an experienced second shooter is £250 for the day and all of these photos I will edit in my signature style.
Excellent! I love capturing these and take on a select few during the year on weekdays. They’re always a great opportunity for us to get to know each other before the wedding so you’re comfortable with me when the big day comes. If you also require a hair and makeup artist and videographer too, I can suggest some fantastic suppliers.
No I don't offer discounts.
Remember the cake will be eaten, your flowers will fade but it's the photographs that you will be sharing in years to come. They are part of your legacy.
I sure do, and they are handmade by the finest supplier Folio Albums. These magnificent albums boast phenomenal picture quality across 30 layflat spreads. The high quality pages are 12”x12” and come bound in a wide selection of covers to suit any taste: choose from leather, cotton, vegan-friendly material or silk.
You can select your favourite images from your wedding gallery and I will personally design a beautiful album for you and your family to cherish. Presented in their own dust sleeve to protect them, they will make for a beautiful keepsake for generations to come.
I don't do venue site visits in advance as this isn't necessary or helpful, simply because the photography on the day is all dependent on available light. I typically scout the venue alone on the wedding day before I start shooting, and this is more than enough for me to spot the perfect locations for your portraits. It's always great to have a fresh pair of eyes on the location too as I will spot things you might not have considered. Don't worry, I'm on it!
I sure do! I always have two camera bodies on me (Sony A7iii) at all times, as well as multiple lenses for back up.
Yes I have professional business insurance and also public liability insurance.
I receive around 500+ enquiries per year but only accept and select to shoot around 40 weddings a year.
Touch wood, I haven't called in sick for a wedding, as this generally isn't an option! Having said that, if something were to happen I am part of several photographer networks and would be able to provide emergency cover.
I try to capture your wedding as it unfolds naturally, and so I find that shot lists aren't the best way to work. But of course I understand there'll be certain shots you'll really want so we'll sit down together beforehand to discuss any special requests you have. The only photos that are strategically planned with a list will be your family and group photos, as these require planning and preparation. But don't worry, I'll guide and advise you before the big day to make sure we get your dream photos!
