As some of you might know, the main chapter in my photography journey was when I used to be a fashion/lifestyle blogger. For many years I wrote a successful blog, The Cinnamon Slipper (it’s somewhere out there in the ether still). One of the most valuable things I took away from the experience was the friendships I made and in particular Paige.
I followed Paige’s blog for sometime and we mutually adored each other’s content and then became pen-pals for months. We clicked straight away as we both had the same interests and young-spirited outlook on life. At one point this year we couldn’t even remember the very first time we met in person as it was such a natural transition for us.
Back in September we created a mood board of a creative shoot we wanted to do for some content in Paige’s blog. It featured images of our favourite artist Mucha, flowers, boho inspired images and this shoot seemed to just happen by complete magic. Being a natural light photographer, I adore shooting on location and the great outdoors is my studio.
